Twelve podcast episodes on building & running a simple & spacious business
Bitesized episodes to support you to find more ease, joy, and freedom in your work and life...
Hello 👋🏻
Sara and I are super excited to be recording again together this week for our next LFAHC episode - look for that hopefully in your podcast feed next week 🎙
Until then I thought I would pop in and share with you some of my favourite episodes from my solo show, Your Simple & Spacious Business, that I hope can be encouraging and supportive for you in your business right now.
1. How I’ve Sustained My Business During A Very Challenging Year Of My Health
In this recent episode I share what it’s looked like for me to show up for my business this past year whilst also navigating some really challenging health circumstances and what has supported me to continue to run my business at a slower and gentler pace.
2. Every Piece Of Business Advice Is Right And Wrong
In this episode I share the five question I ask myself to sense-check through whenever I’m navigating business advice. These questions support me to stay in my own lane, steer clear of advice that isn’t truly aligned with my goals for my work and life, and avoid the overwhelm that can come with all of the noise out there and my hope is that they can support you to do so too.
3. The Simple Marketing System That Hasn’t Failed Me Yet
As I eased back into creating marketing content again after my recent summer sabbatical, in this episode I share with you the simple marketing system I’ve been using for close to a decade now in my business that has supported me to be consistently booked out with hell yes clients and reach my income goals in my business.
4. How I Run My Group Program In A Way That’s Energetically Sustainable For Me
After experiencing burnout in my business due to asking more of myself than what was truly sustainable for me within my containers, I decided to do things very differently when I built my flagship group program, Your Simple & Spacious Business, last year and in this episode I share how I’ve built a really hands-on and valuable group program in a way that’s very sustainable for my to deliver each week too.
5. How And Why I’m Creating More Financial Accessibility Within My Business Model
In this episode I share some of the ways I’ve been exploring creating more financial accessibility within my business in this season, from creating lower-ticket offerings to experimenting with a sliding scale pricing model for my flagship group program and more.
6. A Simple & Spacious Business Isn’t A Perfect Business
Everything I do in my work is all about supporting fellow business owners to build a simple and spacious business for themselves but there is a key caveat I think it’s important for me to make: a simple and spacious business isn’t a perfect business.
Building more ease, joy, and flexibility into our business model doesn’t mean that we won’t have some weeks or months where we feel a little overstretched, or that we won’t navigate challenging clients and customers or that we won’t have experiments that don’t turn out as we hoped that they would. In this episode I share how I define an imperfect simple and spacious business for myself and how you can too.
7. What Has Actually Moved The Needle For Me In My Business Growth
When I look back over my most impactful and meaningful business growth over the past decade, four key pieces of the puzzle come to mind: consistent content creation, collaborations, word of mouth, and committing to the time meaningful business growth asks of us. I share more about each of these in this episode and encourage you to explore how they could be impactful in your business too.
8. How Do We Hold The Uncertainity Of Entrepreneurship?
Entrepreneurship is a wild ride - the trade off we make for the freedom and autonomy we find in being our own boss is accepting the uncertainty that’s along for the ride.
If you find that your nervous system is often activated through the highs and lows of running your business, I recorded this episode for you.
9. How My Version Of A Simple & Spacious Business Has Evolved Over The Years
I feel like I’ve lived so many different lives in my business journey so far since I started this wild ride back in 2015. My life looks so different in so many ways than it did back in 2015 and throughout every different season of my business journey so far this one core intention has stayed the same: to do this work in a way that works best for me as a human being each day.
In this episode I take a walk down memory lane and share with you how my version of a simple and spacious business has evolved over the years and share all the different lives I’ve lived in my business journey so far.
10. Pursuing Intentional Financial Goals Beyond The ‘Six Figure’ Noise
Do you ever feel like everywhere you look you’re being bombarded with the noise that six figures is the ultimate sign of success as a business owner?
In this episode I share why I believe that our financial goals don’t have to exist in response to everyone else’s. Because true alignment is being all in on what we truly desire, no matter if it impresses or makes sense to everyone else.
If you’re ready to pursue financial goals in your business that truly feel like a hell yes for you, whether they’re ‘six figures’ or not, this episode is for you.
11. Financial vs Energetic Growth
In this episode I share the lessons I’ve learned about prioritising energetic and financial growth in my business over the past decade and how important it is to be intentional in choosing the growth that matters most to us in each season that we’re in.
12. Burned Out Service-Providers: It’s Time To Download Your Brain
In this episode I share the biggest lesson I’ve learned from my journey of moving from burned out service-provider to a simple and spacious business owner.
If you’re ready to bring more spaciousness to your business and more income growth without increasing your working hours, this episode is for you.
I hope there’s an episode on this list that can be encouraging and supportive for you today 🎙
With love, Jen
